Various social organizations and citizens have demanded an independent and impartial inquiry into the increase in the assets of public representatives over the past 15 years.
लोगों का कहना है कि यदि किसी सांसद या मंत्री की संपत्ति करोड़ों या अरबों रुपये तक बढ़ी है, तो उसके स्रोत को सार्वजनिक किया जाना चाहिए। मांग की जा रही है कि सभी जनप्रतिनिधियों की घोषित संपत्तियों, आयकर विवरणों और अन्य वित्तीय दस्तावेजों का मिलान कर पारदर्शी जांच की जाए।
People argue that if the assets of an MP or minister have grown to the tune of crores or billions of rupees, the source of this wealth should be made public. There is a demand for a transparent investigation involving the cross-verification of the declared assets, income tax details, and other financial documents of all elected representatives.
नागरिकों का मानना है कि लोकतंत्र में जवाबदेही और पारदर्शिता आवश्यक है। इसलिए जनता को यह जानने का अधिकार है कि जनप्रतिनिधियों की संपत्ति में हुई वृद्धि वैध आय, व्यवसाय, निवेश या अन्य कानूनी स्रोतों से हुई है या नहीं।
Citizens believe that accountability and transparency are essential in a democracy. Therefore, the public has the right to know whether the increase in the assets of elected representatives stems from legitimate income, business, investments, or other legal sources.
हालांकि, यह ध्यान रखना आवश्यक है कि बिना जांच और प्रमाण के किसी भी सांसद या मंत्री पर भ्रष्टाचार या कमीशनखोरी के आरोप लगाना उचित नहीं है। जांच एजेंसियों और संबंधित संस्थाओं द्वारा तथ्यों के आधार पर ही किसी निष्कर्ष पर पहुंचा जा सकता है।
